Monsta Cats NFT Weekly Update — January 31, 2022

⭐ General

It’s been a great week, Monstas. We feel the community is getting stronger and we receive a lot of daily messages about how cool the collection is. We are on a mission to make Monsta Cats great and to execute the roadmap no matter what.

We want to grow and support a positive and friendly community, grow organically, and have fun while doing everything.

👭 Team

There are 2 new kick-ass women who officially joined the team this week. Elena and Shell Yeah are both amazing. Don’t be shy and come say hi.

🗞 News

Mindsparkle Mag is a super-duper cool website and Instagram page that features great design. Luckily, this last week we not only got featured but Monsta Cats has won “Site of the Day”. To be awarded amongst such incredible designers is an honor and something great for visibility.

🐱 Community

We officially sent the holiday surprise last week. Not going to lie, it’s been a bit of a hassle logistically but we can’t wait for the reactions.

Consider this a merch experiment. We’re planning caps, hoodies, sweatshirts, maybe even customized sneakers. If you have any ideas, make sure to drop them in the #ideas channel on our Discord.

Last but not least, one of our members, @5nineteen has worked on a 3D Monsta that was just too cute to handle. We appreciate the time he invested in bringing this artwork to life, so we’ll reward him accordingly.

➡️ What’s next

Starting next week, we will have quarterly and weekly Discord challenges. This means new ways to have fun and more chances to win a Monsta Cat. Here’s a breakdown:

🎁 Quarterly Discord Contests

1. Bring a friend: Bring a friend to Monsta Cats. When they purchase a Monsta, we’ll airdrop you a Cat as well.

2. Adopt a real Monsta: This is a @shellyeah initiative. Each week, she’ll scope out black cats that struggle to get adopted. If you adopt a real black cat, we’ll give you a Monsta Cat.

3. Lost cat posters: Print and post 10 posters in your city. Prove it with 10 photos and we’ll reward you with one Monsta Cat. Template coming soon on our Discord.

🎁 Weekly Discord Contests

This week we have a #hiphop contest going on. Write a minimum of 8 hip-hop lines related to the Monsta Cats world.

We’ll record the winning verses with a professional artist, add a beat, and the Monsta Cat you won will be animated to perform.

To end the weekly announcement on a high note, here’s one last thing. Can’t say what or when we’ll be able to talk about it just yet. Hopefully in about 2 months, but it’s going to be freaking BIG for the community.
